About Me

A DEDICATED TEACHER WITH A PASSION FOR TEACHING

After obtaining her Bachelor and Master Degrees in business education in Canada, she shared her expertise in the business community and various universities, such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and so forth. Afterwards, she earned her degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education from University of East Anglia, UK. Her research concerns the investigation of how self-regulated learning (SRL) can be nourished in higher education. She developed a new SRL model, grounded in social constructivism, to transform students into lifelong learners. Along the way, she also shares her insights into what teacher training should be given to facilitate SRL.
